It’s the start of a new year and that means that Impressionable Youth Media is almost ready to unveil the project that we’ve been working on over the past few months. It has been, and continues to be, a lot of long hours and hard work for everyone involved but we’re so excited for the days to come. After nearly half a year in the making, Impressionable Youth Media is proud to present to you, “Sound Affects”.
“Sound Affects” is a compilation album of cover songs, new songs, and previously unreleased material from prominent and up-and-coming musicians in the Canadian music scene. It features a variety of styles and genres, and it showcases some of the amazing talent, creativity, eccentricities and collaboration within the Canadian music industry. The whole project will culminate with a CD release party in Toronto. We are also proud to announce that all of the proceeds generated from the album sales of Sound Affects, and the door money from the CD release party will be donated to the award winning charity, War Child Canada to assist war-affected children and communities across the world.
We’re excited to be able to share our news and updates with you and there sure are going to be a lot of them within the coming weeks! Stay tuned to this page for more details on the album, the fantastic CD release party, and a whole slew of artist interviews and production from your soon-to-be new favourite musicians!
With that, we hope that you’re having a wonderful start to 2012!
